To meet these demands, Libya Espresso Lab turned to Huawei eKit, deploying Wi-Fi 6 access points and intelligent switches for full coverage, stable connectivity, and easy network management. Despite its popularity, Libya Espresso Lab was struggling to meet growing customer expectations for seamless Wi-Fi. Guests frequently encountered weak signals, interruptions, and dead zones while streaming, video calling, or sharing on social media, which threatened the café’s reputation as a modern, connected space.

At the same time, the local team faced complex network management challenges. Lacking specialized IT support, daily maintenance, troubleshooting, and manual configuration consumed time and resources that could have been spent serving customers. The existing network also lacked scalability, making it difficult to support an increasing number of devices or plan for future growth without major upgrades and technical expertise.

Libya Espresso Lab collaborated with a Huawei-certified installer to implement a complete Huawei eKit network, built on a streamlined architecture that ensures dependable performance, effortless management, and room to scale as the café grows.

1. AP361 — Wi-Fi 6 Access Points Twelve Huawei eKit AP361 units were strategically positioned across the café to ensure full coverage and stable, high-speed connectivity. Each AP361 uses an intelligent antenna system to optimize signal distribution in real time. As customers move through seating areas or the lounge, smart roaming ensures uninterrupted connections for streaming, video calls, or browsing, eliminating dead zones and lag.

2. S220-24P4J — Intelligent Switches Two Huawei eKit S220-24P4J switches form the network’s central backbone. They enable centralized management, allowing the café team to quickly configure, monitor, and troubleshoot all connected devices through Huawei’s intuitive APP. With PoE support, the switches also supply power directly to AP361 units, reducing cabling complexity and simplifying deployment.

The complete network is managed via the Huawei eKit APP, providing a single interface for monitoring network performance, updating configurations, and resolving issues remotely. This approach eliminates the need for specialized IT staff while ensuring the café maintains a reliable, secure, and easy-to-manage digital environment.

One of the standout aspects of this project was the speed and simplicity of deployment. The Huawei certified installer completed the full installation and configuration of all access points and switches throughout the café — covering every seating area, lounge, and workspace — in just a few hours.

This efficiency was made possible by Huawei’s APP-based scanning and auto-configuration features. The installer could quickly detect devices, apply configurations, and verify network connectivity using the eKit APP, dramatically reducing setup time. Even with minimal prior hands-on experience — attending only a single Huawei technical salon — the partner was able to independently deploy and manage the café’s entire network, delivering a seamless Wi-Fi experience for both staff and customers.
