Egyptian Villa is a luxurious four-story residence situated on a 1,000 m² plot in Egypt. Designed with elegance and functionality in mind, the home combines spacious living areas, private entertainment rooms, and outdoor terraces, making it a hub for family life and social gatherings.

The homeowners envisioned a network that would match the villa’s sophistication: a high-performance system capable of delivering uninterrupted Wi-Fi 6 coverage across all floors and rooms, seamlessly connecting smart TVs, personal devices, and smart home equipment. In addition, the network needed to integrate invisibly into the home’s refined interior design, avoiding bulky access points or exposed wiring that could disrupt the aesthetic flow of the space.

With multiple family members and guests using laptops, tablets, smartphones, and IoT devices simultaneously, the network required strong capacity and consistent performance. The homeowners also prioritized seamless roaming, ensuring that moving from one room to another — or even from indoor to outdoor spaces — would not interrupt streaming, video calls, or online gaming.

Despite the villa’s modern design and luxurious layout, traditional networking solutions presented significant challenges. Standard access points and networking equipment often protruded from walls or ceilings, disrupting the carefully curated interior aesthetic. At the same time, conventional Wi-Fi deployments struggled to provide consistent coverage across all floors and rooms, leaving dead zones in key areas of the home.

Adding to the complexity, these solutions required significant manual configuration and ongoing troubleshooting, making network management cumbersome for the homeowners. The villa therefore required a modern, fully integrated network solution that could deliver high-speed connectivity throughout the property, remain visually discreet, and simplify both deployment and long-term maintenance.

The project team partnered with a Huawei-certified installer to deploy a full Huawei eKit solution, combining elegant design with high-performance networking. The solution utilized a mix of wall plate AP160 devices, S220-24P4X PoE switches, and an S380 egress router.

1. AP160 Wall Plate — Full-Scenario Wi-Fi 6 Access Point Each AP160 is ultra-thin (8 mm) and designed to blend seamlessly with interior walls. Smart antennas dynamically adjust signal direction based on user location, ensuring zero dead zones and full coverage throughout the villa.

2. S220-24P4X — PoE Switch These switches supply power directly to the AP160 devices, eliminating the need for separate adapters and keeping cabling minimal and clean.

3. S380 — Egress Router Supporting up to 200 connected terminals, the compact S380 router handles all external connectivity. Its small form factor allows flexible placement without occupying valuable space.

All devices are centrally managed through the Huawei eKit APP, providing a unified interface for configuration, monitoring, and remote maintenance, even for users with minimal technical experience.

The Huawei-certified partner completed the villa’s network installation quickly and with minimal disruption. AP160 wall plates were mounted flush with the walls, blending seamlessly with the interior while providing full Wi-Fi 6 coverage across all four floors.

Using the eKit APP, devices were scanned, configured, and verified rapidly, while PoE S220-24P4X switches supplied power without extra cabling. The compact S380 router supported over 200 connected devices, delivering a high-speed, reliable network that combined performance with elegance and simplicity.
