Privacy Statement in connection with Galliker Open Door Event June 23, 2022

This privacy statement (in the following ‘Privacy Statement’) explains how Huawei Technologies Switzerland AG (hereinafter “Huawei”, “we”, “us”, “our”), the organizer of Galliker Open Door Event June 23, 2022 in Nebikon (LU) (hereinafter referred to as “Event”), will process your personal data disclosed to.

Huawei will be the controller of the personal data collected or provided to us. Your personal data generally will be treated in accordance with our Privacy Policy accessible at https://www.huawei.com/ch-en/privacy-policy however, related personal data collected specifically in connection with the Event will be dealt with as set out below.

Your first name, last name and title
Your function
Company Name
Your E-Mail address
Your phone number

2. SOURCES WE COLLECT YOUR PERSONAL DATA FROM

Your data will be collected directly from you: all personal data you provide to us in relation to this event, see section 1.

3. What we use your personal DATA for

The table below describes the main purposes for which we process your personal data, the categories of your personal data involved. Which will apply will depend upon your interactions with us.

Purpose	Personal data used
Event Registration and notification	Email, First Name, Last Name, Company, Job Title; while company name will be shared with our partner Galliker AG for the event organization.
Photos and / or Videos	Together with our staff, our team assistants may take pictures and / or videos during the event for Huawei internal usage.
Mailing and Marketing Newsletters	A “thank you E-Mail” might be sent to you after the event and / or a survey link for improvement of our future events (you can choose to unsubscribe anytime from any E-Mail communication, see clause 7).In addition and subject to your consent, you will be receiving messages via E-Mail in respect to new information regarding events, promotions, future marketing activities from Huawei and Huawei authorized channel partners.
Project Approaching	We might, based on your survey feedback and your consent herein, further contact business participants for workshop, POC or ordering requests (you can choose to unsubscribe anytime from any E-Mail communication, see clause 7).

4. LEGAL BASIS FOR PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA

The legal basis for the processing of your personal data with regards to the Event is your consent, meaning your explicit acceptance of this Privacy Statement.

When you have given us your consent to use your personal information in a particular manner, you have the right to withdraw this consent at any time. Please note however that the withdrawal of your consent will not affect any use of the information made before you withdrew your consent; nor does it affect any data processing based on another justification other than your consent, such as our overriding legitimate interest if applicable.

We do not use personal data in connection with the data processing operations described in this Privacy Statement for automated decision-making.

5. Who your personal DATA is shared with and where Is your data stored

In order to implement the event, your data will be processed in Switzerland and stored on our servers located in Germany. Further, your personal data may be shared with our partner as set below for reasons of general information and event preparation works who will join the Event Galliker Open Doors on June 23, 2022 in Nebikon (LU).

With your consent to this Privacy Statement we obtain your permit for the disclosure of your personal data to the following partners/affiliates to the extent required in order to organize, plan this event as well as for the purposes listed under clause 3:

6. How long is the personal DATA kept for

We will store your personal data for the period of implementation of the event.

Further, your personal data will be stored until you withdraw your consent for Email Direct Marketing and Event Invitations (For business participants: Email, First Name, Last Name, Company, Job Title).

Huawei takes the security of personal data seriously. We take appropriate physical, organizational, and technical measures to protect your personal data from unauthorized access or use, improper disclosure, tampering, destruction, or loss.

7. YOUR RIGHTS

You may exercise your data subject rights, including the right to be informed, the right of access, the right to rectification, the right to deletion, the right to restrict processing, the right to data portability, the right to object and also rights around automated decision making and profiling as well as your right to revoke your consent to the processing of your personal data at any time.

You can unsubscribe at any time from our E-Mails and event activities following the unsubscribe link in the invitations and / or E-Mails.
