Shanghai, China

[Shanghai, China, September 17, 2026] During HUAWEI CONNECT 2026, Huawei held the Commercial Market Summit at the Shanghai Expo Center under the theme "Join Hands with Partners to Make the Digital and Intelligent World More Accessible." At the summit, Huawei launched 15 new solutions and 115 new products designed for the commercial market. Together, they address 95 scenarios across 10 industries, from education and hospitality to manufacturing. The company also showcased a year of achievements with its partners, demonstrating how its ICT infrastructure expertise is helping industries capture new opportunities in the intelligent world.

AI is accelerating digital and intelligent transformation worldwide. Around 20% of enterprises have already reached an advanced stage of intelligent transformation, with the related market expected to reach US$810 billion by 2028 and grow at a CAGR of 27% over the next three to five years. Development varies significantly across regions, with Europe and North America leading in adoption, while Asia Pacific and the Middle East are seeing strong growth and emerging markets are catching up. Industries such as education, healthcare, manufacturing, finance, and public services also have different requirements for AI in terms of technology, cost, and fit for specific use cases. Huawei has one of the industry's most comprehensive ICT portfolios and extensive experience in helping industries advance their digital and intelligent transformation. Working with partners, it has successfully delivered more than 10,000 transformation projects and built more than 500 showcases worldwide.

Peter Zhang, Director of Huawei's Commercial Sales Department, delivers the keynote speech

Peter Zhang, Director of Huawei's Commercial Sales Department, opened the summit with a keynote speech. He said Huawei has always put customers at the center, working closely with partners to integrate its products and technologies with customer needs and scenarios, with the goal of becoming one of the most trusted ICT providers for digital and intelligent transformation worldwide. In the AI era, Huawei has built a comprehensive ICT infrastructure spanning computing, storage, and data connectivity. Recognizing computing power as a key driver of productivity in the AI era, Huawei offers three types of compute products to give customers a new option. For edge inference, it opens Kunpeng and Ascend core modules and boards to component partners, helping them develop differentiated, cost-effective compute devices. Together with ISV partners, Huawei also optimizes applications and offers out-of-the-box integrated hardware and software appliances to accelerate AI adoption. For medium and large customers with large-model training needs, Huawei provides a SuperPoD architecture capable of supporting models with hundreds of billions to tens of trillions of parameters, delivering a high-performance and highly reliable compute engine. Huawei also uses the technical toolkits, innovation center resources, and expert teams provided through its Small and Medium-sized Enterprises Computing Enablement Engine (SMECE) to help partners deliver projects more efficiently, while steadily expanding its compute products into markets outside China. For storage, Huawei has introduced its AI Data Platform and DCS AI Solution. Their integrated architecture and advanced deduplication and compression technologies help control costs, while a petabyte-scale, high-speed cache pool improves the utilization of intelligent computing resources. In networking, Huawei's Stellar AI Network features integrated sensing and communication as well as intrinsic security. Wi-Fi 7 Advanced enables the efficient collection of physical sensing data required by AI, while AI-based protection embedded in networks enables rapid threat blocking. Together, these capabilities help address the network and security challenges that can make AI difficult or risky for enterprises to deploy. Meanwhile, Huawei draws on its global service system, Hi-Care and Co-Care services, and the O3 Community to strengthen service assurance. It has also launched a digital operations platform that provides partners with one-stop, open, and AI capabilities to help them serve customers more efficiently.

Huawei launches 15 solutions and 115 new products

The summit brought together leaders from Huawei's Commercial Sales Department, Commercial Scenario Department, Data Communication Product Line, Data Storage Product Line, and Optical Business Product Line to launch the solutions and offer in-depth explanations of each.

In education, Huawei introduced the intelligent coordinated scheduling and spatial reuse (iCSSR) technology, which increases wireless network bandwidth to 320 MHz, effectively reducing co-channel interference and improving terminal performance by 100% for a smoother smart teaching experience. In hospitality, the iFTTO Solution for hotels continuously upgrades connectivity and O&M capabilities, building an integrated sensing and communication network architecture that balances energy efficiency with high-speed access. In manufacturing, an industrial AI model for quality inspection, built with 800 industrial-grade operators, achieves 99% inspection accuracy. A single storage system supports both quality inspection and data training and inference, increasing inspection efficiency tenfold and significantly improving product qualification rates.

At this summit, Huawei also invited several industry partners and customers to share their experiences. Fahad Alkhaldi, Director of the Technical Support and Beneficiary Care Unit at Prince Sultan University, noted that Huawei's high-performance network and data infrastructure provide a high-speed, low-latency, and reliable digital foundation for AI-assisted education and research. The university uses it for VR training, online exams, and AI research, among other applications. Guicheng Wu, Vice President of the Chongqing University Three Gorges Hospital, said the hospital worked with Huawei to rapidly deploy a range of medical AI applications based on a domestic AI computing and storage infrastructure, improving the quality and efficiency of clinical diagnosis and treatment, strengthening pathology, and streamlining operational management. John Miko Cheng, Business Development Strategist of Ricklee Enterprises, said that as a partner of Huawei in the Philippines for over a decade, Ricklee will continue to deepen its cooperation with Huawei and leverage all-optical technology to expand its business and help customers in the hospitality, education, and healthcare sectors build efficient, intelligent, and green all-optical networks.

Huawei unveils global AI experience showcases

AI adoption is advancing from experimentation and pilot projects to large-scale commercial deployment. At the close of the summit, Leon Xu, Director of Huawei's Commercial Scenario Department, shared innovative practices in sectors such as manufacturing, education, and public services. He then invited several partners and customers on stage to unveil the global AI experience showcases.

Looking ahead, Huawei will continue to develop its "Huawei + Partners" ecosystem, delivering high-quality products, solutions, and services to customers and helping them derive tangible value from every business investment. For partners, Huawei will continue to increase incentives, enablement, and resource support, ensuring that every effort by its partners is properly rewarded. Huawei will work alongside its customers and partners to move forward into a new era.
