An all-optical campus network is a campus network constructed using single-mode optical fibers and access technologies such as GPON, XGS-PON, and Wi-Fi 6. It predominately includes optical line terminals (OLTs), an optical distribution network (ODN), and optical network units (ONUs). It can carry multiple services such as data, voice, and video services, and features simple architecture, easy evolution, intelligent O&M, and high reliability.
