U1911 Unified Gateway Data Sheet

eSpace U1911 Unified Gateway

The Huawei U1911 Unified Gateway is a core voice gateway used in the Huawei Enterprise Communications (EC) Solution. It works with Huawei IP terminals and UC applications to provide professional IP telephony (IPT) and UC services.
The lightweight U1911 uses a highly-integrated broadband and narrowband design for hybrid analog and IP phone networking. It can connect to the Public Switched Telephone Network (PSTN) or to voice switches in private networks using digital, analog, and broadband Simple Internet Protocol (SIP) trunks.
The U1911 is equipped with modular boards to simplify installation and support hot swapping. It can be quickly deployed and easily maintained with graphical configuration tools.

Networking and applications

U1911 is a small-capacity voice gateway for small- and medium-sized voice communication scenarios where enterprises have no branches or small branches. Integrated Access Devices (IAD) or IP phones can be deployed in small branches.

IPT application scenarios

U1911 can connect to the carrier network through a broadband/narrowband trunk to provide a variety of voice functions. In this case, SIP phones can be connected directly. Analog phones and fax machines can be connected directly or through IADs.

UC application scenarios

Enhanced communication suites can be deployed at the same time to enrich communication channels and improve communication efficiency with a wide range of UC services. Services include presence, Instant Messaging (IM), and multimedia conferencing.
