Huawei Unveils Two ISP Global Showcases and 2T & Submarine-Terrestrial Synergy All-Optical Network Solution for AI Workloads

Shanghai, China

[Shanghai, China, September 18, 2026] During HUAWEI CONNECT 2026, Huawei held an ISP Summit themed "AI Reshapes ISPs, Tokens Drive Growth." At the summit, Huawei released its 2T & Submarine-Terrestrial Synergy All-Optical Network Solution for AI Workloads and unveiled two global showcases: the FiberStar Showcase and the Brasil TecPar Showcase. These showcases provide strategic guidance and practical references for Internet Service Providers (ISPs) to transform from traditional "pipes" into intelligent "engines."

York Yue, Vice President of Huawei and CEO of the ISP Computing and Network Infrastructure BU, highlighted in his opening speech that AI is driving the industry growth engine from connecting users to connecting data centers (DCs). "We have identified three major opportunities: a recovering Internet Data Center (IDC) market driven by AI compute, a surge in Data Center Interconnect (DCI) traffic, and new revenue streams in localized compute and connectivity powered by edge AI deployment." Yue also stressed that, to lead in this new era, ISPs can focus on three aspects: optimizing network layouts around compute nodes, cultivating AI computing network professionals, and piloting new business models like token services tailored to local demands. Huawei is ready to join hands with industry customers to build next-generation networks centered on DCs, unlocking new growth for the industry.

Huawei Released 2T & Submarine-Terrestrial Synergy All-Optical Network Solution for AI Workloads to Empower ISPs to Upgrade Toward Computing Power Monetization

The explosive growth of large model applications has driven an exponential increase in token usage, leading to a surge in demand for AI computing power scheduling and cross-region data interconnection. The summit brought together global ISPs and industry experts to explore industry transformation and chart a blueprint for shifting from traffic monetization to token value monetization.

In his keynote speech, Guan Jiawei, Vice President of Beijing Approach AI Technology (Approaching.AI), said that token demands are growing exponentially as AI agents gain popularity, driving DCs to develop into token factories. "Our ATaaS architecture provides tiered token services through heterogeneous compute collaboration and inference innovations, which aims to promote inclusive compute and drive growth in enterprise compute bandwidth and DCI markets."

Wahaj Siraj, Co-founder & CEO of Nayatel, Pakistan shared in his speech on Computing Power Leasing and Intelligent Operations Drive Business Success how ISPs can leverage their existing infrastructure to offer a brand new service stack with minimum investments. He highlighted that by offering localized GPU as a Service (GaaS) and AI-powered intelligent operations, ISPs can offer something that foreign entities cannot and how staying close to the customer wins hearts and the business.

To help ISPs boost network performance and efficiently expand in DC and compute markets, Huawei released the 2T & Submarine-Terrestrial Synergy All-Optical Network Solution for AI Workloads. This solution focuses on the demand of AI workloads for ultra-high bandwidth, ultra-low latency, and reliable cross-region interconnection. It delivers a 2T DCI and submarine-terrestrial integrated infrastructure for connecting both domestic and international computing nodes. With this solution, ISPs can provide DCI and cross-border computing private line services for AI enterprises and cloud vendors, converting network capabilities into compute-enabling services to support large-scale token service deployment.

Global Showcases: Best Practices in Indonesia and Brazil

Transformation requires both visionary foresight and hands-on practice. To provide ISPs with practical references for B2B transformation, Huawei collaborated with FiberStar and Brasil TecPar to build global showcases for B2B scenarios, and unveiled the showcases at the summit.

Launch of the FiberStar × Huawei Intelligent Connectivity Global Showcase

• FiberStar: As a leading fiber infrastructure service provider in Indonesia, FiberStar has built an intelligent infrastructure with high bandwidth, reliability, and easy scalability using Huawei's IP & optical converged bearer network, DCI, and SD-WAN solutions. With this infrastructure, FiberStar delivers stable, high-speed connectivity to local enterprises, expanding its high-value B2B services. This showcase demonstrates FiberStar's tech-driven transformation path, providing a replicable model for ISPs to explore the B2B blue ocean in the intelligent world.

Launch of the Brasil TecPar × Huawei Intelligent Network Global Showcase

Launch of the Brasil TecPar × Huawei Intelligent Network Global Showcase

• Brasil TecPar: As a leading ISP in Brazil, Brasil TecPar has rapidly expanded through proactive market strategies. Leveraging Huawei's end-to-end converged bearer network solution, Brasil TecPar has unified its network architecture, rapidly consolidated multiple networks, and boosted operational efficiency. It has also launched Fiber-to-the-Room (FTTR) packages to improve customer experience, driving rapid growth in both home broadband and B2B services. This showcase provides ISPs with a proven business model and a clear roadmap for transforming from connectivity providers to digital service providers.

AI is giving ISPs the power to transition from "pipes" to "engines" and evolve their offerings beyond basic connectivity to intelligent services. Moving forward, Huawei will continue to increase innovation and investment in the ISP sector. By reshaping networks with AI and driving growth with tokens, Huawei remains committed to helping ISPs build high-performance, resilient, intelligent infrastructure to share success in intelligent transformation.
