Image quality is the key for any camera. And, unlike traditional cameras that use a 1/1.8 inch front-illuminated Complementary Metal Oxide Semiconductor (CMOS) sensor, Huawei X Series Face Capture Box Cameras benefit from a 1/1.8 inch back-illuminated CMOS, greatly increasing the amount of light reaching the image plane and improving overall image quality.
With built-in Neural Network Processing Units (NPUs) improving the computing efficiency of deep learning algorithms such as face detection and attribute recognition, both the X1221-H and the X1281-H can capture a maximum of 100 faces per frame — three to five times the industry average — offering a maximum resolution of 1920 x 1080 and 2840 x 2160 pixels, respectively.
Able to capture faces in densely populated areas without missed snapshots, both X Series cameras are powered by Artificial Intelligence (AI) and therefore capable of recognizing diverse scenarios, including backlight, rain, fog, and quick moving objects, adjusting snapshot parameters accordingly. In addition, the cameras can track, filter, and evaluate faces in real time to generate optimal face snapshots and increase the accuracy of secondary recognition.
End-users can select illuminators and housings flexibly, based on the actual deployment environment. Meanwhile, Power over Ethernet (PoE) greatly simplifies camera deployment and maintenance.
