A Smarter Campus Network For Southern Cross University

Background

Southern Cross University (SCU) is an Australian public university with multiple campuses in northern New South Wales and southern Queensland. It has a large multi-campus network which needed upgrading to cope with increasing data traffic and accessibility challenges for students, teachers and IT staff. SCU engaged Huawei to undergo a systematic assessment of the whole network to address the university's pain points and develop a solution that would allow it to manage increased traffic and to improve performance to support all teaching, research and web services.
