Terms and Conditions — HUAWEI eKit Video Contest
The following Terms and Conditions (“Conditions”) are the basis on which you can participate in the dynamics that will be established in the
website, ("website"), designed, operated and maintained by Huawei Enterprise Middle East & Central Asia, ("hereinafter referred to as Us / Our / Us / Huawei”). By participating, you explicitly indicate that you accept these Conditions and that you agree to abide by them, and that they are applicable from the moment you participate in this Program.
We reserve the right to change these conditions at any time, without prior notice, publishing the changes online and for valid reasons. You are responsible for reviewing the information posted online to be informed in a timely manner of any changes.
What are the conditions to participate?
1. There is no necessary purchase to participate.
2. To participate, you must register correctly with a valid registration to our program, attend and follow the regulations established within this program. If you were one of the lucky winners, we will contact you through the contact information provided when you register.
3. By participating in this event, you agree that Huawei may use the content you post on LinkedIn, as well as photos and videos of you attending Huawei award ceremonies, summits, and other related activities.
Which are the prizes and quantity?
1 - Outstanding Content Creation Award: $500 USD Gift Card for Each Winner
HUAWEI eKit Team will select 20 high-quality videos based on four criteria. A LinkedIn poll will be held one week before the announcement deadline, and the top 6 videos with the most votes will win.
Video Quality (40%): Clear visuals, focused theme, featuring both the product and people.
Creativity (30%): Innovative, engaging, showcases the product from unique perspectives, integrated into daily life.
Popularity (20%): Interaction data (likes, shares, etc.)
Bonus Themes (10%): Installation process, usage experience, or on-site scenes.
2 - Most Popular Award (10 winners): $300 USD Gift Card for Each Winner
Based on interaction data, with the highest total engagement (shares,likes, reposts).
3 - Top Creator Award (10 winners): $200 USD Gift Card for Each Winner.
Awarded to the top 10 participants who publish the most videos.
4 - Partner Team Promotion Award (3 partners): $500 USD Gift Card for Each Winner
Voucher for the top 3 partners actively promoting the challenge:
Selection based on likes, shares, and comments from the partner’s official accounts, including promotion during offline events such as salons, launch events, recruitment meetings, training sessions, and EDM (email) marketing efforts.
Partners must submit documentation (screenshots, post counts, interaction data, EDM campaigns, and event photos) by December 24 to

Prize Announcement & Collection Details:
1 - December 16, 2024: Announcement of the 20 outstanding videos; voting begins to select the top 6 creators.
2 - December 20, 2024: Final results for all awards announced on the @HUAWEI eKit Engineer LinkedIn account.
3 - Winner Notification: Winners will be notified via social media, and digital vouchers will be sent by email after collecting winners’ email addresses.
4 - Prize Distribution: Prizes will be distributed between December 25 and December 31, 2024.
Note: If a participant qualifies for multiple prizes, they will only receive the highest eligible prize; multiple rewards are not permitted.

This event is open to all users in the Middle East and Central Asia regions of HUAWEI eKit only.
By participating in the #My HUAWEI eKit Story video challenge, you agree to the following:
Video Usage: You grant HUAWEI eKit the right to use, edit, and repurpose your video for marketing, promotional activities, and other related purposes.
Video Editing: HUAWEI eKit reserves the right to edit your video for promotional purposes, including but not limited to adding captions, logos, and other necessary edits.
Ownership: While participants retain ownership of their original content, they agree to give HUAWEI eKit non-exclusive, royalty-free rights to use the video as described above.
Eligibility：Open to all individuals and businesses that have used HUAWEI eKit.
Participants must have a public profile on LinkedIn, YouTube, or Facebook for video entries to be visible.
