Huawei and IEEE UAE have co-organized the event, inviting customers, partners, researchers, universities, and analysts to participate. This event provides an exciting opportunity to explore Wi-Fi 7’s potential across industries encouraging the development of connectivity solutions, fostering new skills in this field and driving intelligent transformation.

What Is Wi-Fi 7?
Wi-Fi 7 — also known as IEEE 802.11be Extremely High Throughput (EHT) — is the latest upcoming Wi-Fi standard. While the 6 GHz frequency band has been supported since Wi-Fi 6E, the performance improvement of the new frequency band is limited because Wi-Fi 6E is still based on Wi-Fi 6. Comparatively, in addition to the 6 GHz frequency band, Wi-Fi 7 introduces a variety of new technologies, such as 4096-quadrature amplitude modulation (QAM), multiple resource unit (MRU), and multi-link operation (MLO). These help to maximize the benefits of the 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz, and 6 GHz frequency bands, enabling Wi-Fi 7 to provide higher data rates, lower latency, and higher reliability. Huawei has an abundance of industry know-how and considerable experience in Wi-Fi, and has made remarkable contributions to Wi-Fi industry standards. Huawei has launched its Wi-Fi 7 product to help enterprises build wireless networks with ultimate experience.
