Huawei Helps Bank Monitor Network Quality

Banco do Brasil is an international bank, is the largest bank in Brazil, its business involved in all areas of the banking industry. Since accurate market grasp the ability to make its business more than 40 countries throughout the world, with a huge network of overseas branches, in all of the world's financial center, has the figure of the Brazilian bank.

Challenges Faced by the Customer

Banco do Brasil has branches sparsely distributed across a wide geography.

The banks network carries traffic from a diverse set of devices.

The bank had rolled out a VoIP service but it's quality was poor. The VoIP device manufacturer claimed the quality problem was not the fault of the devices.

Huawei One-Stop Solution

Huawei used the eSight SLA module to monitor the banks network and carried out testing on the voice quality using Huawei VoIP devices.

The eSight produced results that showed the quality of the banks network needed improving.

The eSight regularly monitored KPI's (such as latency, jitter and packet loss). It sent alarms of potential performance deterioration to help the customer troubleshoot and optimize the network.

eSight is capable of managing devices of multiple vendors. It automatically discovers SNMP capable devices, such as routers and switches, across the whole network. It supports predefined reports such as resource, performance, alarm information, link connection and disconnection, and device connection and disconnection.
