[Shanghai, China, September 5, 2017] At HUAWEI CONNECT 2017, Huawei launched the point-to-multipoint (PMP) microwave solution that meets the requirements of site service backhaul. Featuring anti-interference functionality, high bandwidth, and rapid deployment, the solution has been developed to be the optimal solution for efficient site service backhaul in industry applications such as public security video surveillance, ISP broadband access, and intelligent oil, gas, and electricity services.

Huawei's PMP microwave solution supports the free frequency band of 4.9–5.8 GHz. Therefore, you do not need to apply for frequencies. At the same time, a large capacity of 600 Mbit/s per system and 2.4 Gbit/s per site means the solution easily meets the transmission requirements of HD video surveillance and other bandwidth-intensive services. In addition, flexible PMP networking is supported guaranteeing the LOS or NLOS transmission capability in complex terrain scenarios. The solution uses multiple super anti-interference technologies to ensure ervice reliability during dense deployment. Devices for this solution support plug-and-play and one-click O&M of mobile applications, facilitating the fast backhaul deployment of massive sites.

In the conference, Mr. Jean Jacques, General Director of Ministry Of Posts, Telecommunications, and Digital Development of Madagascar, shared his experience of close cooperation with Huawei on the successful convening of the Francophone Summit by suing microwave products to fast construct networks. He said, "Madagascar currently is striving to build a nation-wide Safe City Project, as evidenced by extensive deployment of a large number of video surveillance sites. Therefore, it is the PMP microwave solution that is required for efficiently resolving the problems occurring in site backhaul."

Joe Zhou, vice president of Huawei transport network product line, introduced the main features of the RTN 510 PMP microwave solution and its broad application prospects in the industry at the launch conference. He said: "As a leading global ICT solutions provider, Huawei is committed to continuously helping carriers build an efficient wireless transmission platform during the process of industry transformation. In the field of microwave transmission, Huawei has established in-depth partnership with more than 150 global industry customers and channel partners. The PMP microwave solution being launched today greatly improves the efficiency of site deployment and service transmission as a result of its high reliability, and will further promote the digitalization transformation process of the industry in the future."

By the end of 2017 Q2, Huawei's microwave division ranked first in the global microwave market and had deployed large-scale applications in telecom carrier networks, public security, energy, finance, and other fields in more than 100 countries.
