Wireless surveillance and flexible terminal deployment

For security and workload, wired deployment does not provide surveillance coverage in remote locations (such as docks or rivers), temporary engineering sites, or large oil tanks. In these cases, Huawei uses its eLTE solution instead. Sensors and cameras are flexibly deployed and connect to the LTE system through industrial gateways and customer-provided equipment to allow real-time surveillance over those areas.

Precise personnel positioning ensures employee safety

Personnel, device, and vehicle positioning as well as monitoring are essential to health, safety, and environment management. Location information can be obtained through GPS outdoors or Zigbee indoors. It is transmitted by portable smart terminals to the control center via the LTE network. Personnel, devices, and vehicles are precisely located using GIS positioning to ensure employee safety.

Intelligent inspection improves quality

Handheld smart terminals use the Android operating system so an inspection application can be developed to perform positioning, take photos, and record on-site data. Recorded data is transmitted to the service platform via the LTE network. If necessary, front-line personnel can interact with experts and download documents to help facilitate device and site inspection, improve collaboration efficiency, and ensure inspection quality.
