OptiX OSN 1800-V

Versatile broadband backbone transmission platform supporting TDM and packet switching over a metropolitan or enterprise campus Optical Transport Network (OTN). Enables multiple high-bandwidth services to be delivered at less cost at speeds from 2 Mbit/s to 10 Gbit/s; also supports leased line speeds from Fast Ethernet (FE) to GE and 10 GE services.

Supports resilient, low-latency video transmission, real-time industrial automation applications, and server-based multimedia applications; cost-effective transport solution for video surveillance, Smart Grid utilities systems, medical imaging, and data centers.

  • Pre-installed and configured fibers with automatic remote commissioning reduce installation costs and speed project delivery
  • Redundant power supplies and optical line protection for resilient performance and high availability
  • Enables long-haul communications;  2.5 GE service transmission to 75 miles (120 km), 10 GE transport transmission to 85 miles (140 km)
